Fuzzy set theory was proposed in 1965 by Professor Lotfi Asker Zadeh of the University of California, Berkeley, to quantify ambiguous concepts more precisely.Fuzzy reasoning methods use fuzzy sets to quantitatively express ambiguous concepts in natural language, and refer to algorithms that use knowledge expressed in natural language to perform reasoning. The representative fuzzy reasoning methods are Mamdani Reasoning Method, Takagi-Sugeno Reasoning Method (also called as Functional Reasoning Method), Simplified Reasoning Method, Multiplicative-Additive Reasoning Method, and Distance-type Fuzzy Reasoning Method.
"Human Reasoning Engine" is software that explains and demonstrates these fuzzy reasoning methods in an understandable manner, and was developed under "Exploratory Software Project" of Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA). We have been able to provide this software to everyone as a result of continued improvement with a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and a research grant from Casio Science Promotion Foundation. We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA), Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Casio Science Promotion Foundation, project managers and various judges for their understanding of our proposal, professors who evaluated our software system, our research collaborators who have worked with us over the years, and students and researchers who contributed to our research and development.

Postscript:
②Operation has been confirmed on Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, and Vista.
③Diagrammatic Reasoning Method and Indirect Reasoning Method etc. will be released sequentially as soon as operation is confirmed.
④"Applications" show that they can be controlled even if nonlinear mathematics models are not understood. Users can experience fun of this learning algorithm like a game.
